From Studio Floors to Wildflowers: My Journey as an Artist

It’s funny how art finds its way into everything.
My creative journey began in the studios and libraries of my Fine Art and Art History programs—where I fell in love with the language of imagery, symbolism, and the quiet power of visual storytelling. I was constantly inspired by the masters, moved by mood and light, and driven by a desire to create work that made people feel something.

After college, I moved to New York City—easily one of the most electric places to be a young artist. The energy, the pace, the sheer amount of inspiration buzzing on every corner—those years shaped me. I worked in the art and photography world, photographing everything from editorial portraits to conceptual projects. I spent time exploring the intersection of art and commerce, always trying to hold on to that thread of authenticity.
Eventually, I traded the skyline for seasons.

Now based in Massachusetts, I’ve embraced a quieter rhythm—one that’s allowed me to reconnect with the things that move me most: light filtering through petals, the ephemeral beauty of still life’s, the small stories hiding in everyday moments. I photograph flowers, landscapes, people, and little vignettes of life that feel poetic, nostalgic, and a little magical.

Living an artistic life, to me, means constantly observing, collecting inspiration, and finding ways to make meaning through creation—whether it’s a photo series, a short video, or just how I set a table or arrange a bouquet.
This blog is where I’ll share some of that—my process, thoughts, works-in-progress, and pieces of the life I’ve built around creativity. I’m so glad you’re here.
